What is the AI Document Analyzer?
AI Document Analyzer is built for structured, lengthy documents. You upload a PDF, a report, a contract, a policy or a spreadsheet, and it reads the whole thing before you start asking questions. Answers cite where they came from, so verification is a click rather than a search.
The distinction from AI Vision is about shape rather than file type. Vision looks at pictures and answers what is in the frame. The document analyzer follows layout and structure across many pages: sections, defined terms, tables, appendices and cross-references. It is the tool for the thirty-page agreement, not the photo of a receipt.
Practical strengths are summarisation, targeted question answering, comparison between two versions, and pulling structured data out of prose. The honest weakness is that it is an aid to reading, not a substitute for professional judgement. It does not give legal, medical or financial advice, and consequential decisions still need a qualified human reading the source.
